Music filled the air, every note moving her as she imagined fingers playing the gentle melody on those piano keys she couldn't see. The image of many looking at her as she moved with delicacy, as her feelings overflowed without the need to speak. As the song ended she opened her eyes to find herself before a mirror. Kasumi smiled faintly and fell to the ground. Had she been perfect? Had she missed again? With no one to watch over her, she wasn't certain, but it all had felt so natural, she hoped it had all been good. She had imagined he was there watching, so she would be very embarrassed if she had messed up anywhere in the choreography. Her recital was coming soon and up until now she couldn't get the grasp of the piece, but today it was different. Today he was on her mind, today he was in her heart.

"You're out of it again Kasumi." Youhei said as he poked the day dreaming girl's cheek with the eraser end of his pencil.

"Stop that. I'm not out of it, I'm thinking." She replied a bit annoyed.

"If you say so. Are you going to give him an answer?"

"I have to." Kasumi blushed a bit.

"If that's going to be your answer, then why not tell him already?" Youhei suggested as he knew her answer.

"Easy for you to say... Now that I think about it, your girlfriend confessed to you didn't she? You said yes right away." Kasumi then thought about it.

"Yeah well, I didn't worry about what my parents would say, not they would mind. They were actually nagging me to find myself a girlfriend." Youhei laughed. He sighed when he saw Kasumi's troubled expression. "He's a nice guy, your mom will eventually come to like him." Kasumi looked up and smiled at him.

"Thanks." She said.

"Speaking of." Youhei laughed and pointed at the door. Kasumi turned and her eyes opened widely as she saw him standing at the door. She smiled and walked up after taking something from her bag.

Mao smiled and waved at her. They had a few minutes before class were to start again. It was rather convinient for them that all grades now shared lunch time. With only a few minutes to spare, the roof had already been left by many other students and now they were alone. Mao streched and took a deep breath.

"Isn't it great up here? When there's no one else that is." Mao turned to smile at her.

"It really is. It's such a nice day too." Kasumi smiled shyly, holding her hands tightly to her chest. "M-Mao-kun?" She took a step towards him.

Mao looked at her and did as she did, now being right before her. She always thought she was the only one who got nervous, but if she had been looking up then, she would have seen his blushing cheeks, but only he could feel his beating heartl

"P-please... Come to my recital next week!" Kasumi said as she uncovered what she held in her hands. A ticket for a ballet recital. She didn't dare to look up until he had taken it from her hands.

"I'll go!"

Kasumi looked up at him to see the ticket in his hand, a wide smile on his lips. She felt so happy, so much she could jump into his arms, but she would wait. Only a smile dressed her beautiful face.
Finally! It's short I know, but I still like it. Probably would look better if I drew it, but that's too much work for so little time ^^''
